It wouldn't be an Indian film festival without some dancing but following the success of last year's competition we took it to another level by taking it to Melbourne's hugely popular Moomba festival. Over 25 acts from all over Australia very bravely put themselves up for evaluation by our judges Malaika Arora Khan (who knows a thing or two about dancing), Raj Kumar Gupta and Kabir Khan. Whether it was traditional Indian dance or street dance with clever Bollywood touches, the range of skills, outfits and approaches suitably represented the festival's theme of Bollywood and Beyond, but there could only be three pre-teen winners and three teenage and upward winners, each of whom receive a prize from Beacon Holidays.But like the lovely Fusion beats from Adelaide told us - just dancing infront of the judges was prize enough for most of them !
